It's a little overwhelming because it involves rummaging through unlabeled boxes and navigating through crowds, but there are usually hidden treasures that make it worth it.
NOTE: Don't go here if you're afraid of people or easily feel claustrophobic.
Example of prices include:
- dresses $20
- all coats $50
- all shorts $10

| I know it's sort of hard to see my jacket through the blur, but it's just a black version of my winter white coat. |

| My white Lady Day Coat for $50 (originally $325) from last year's J. Crew Warehouse Sale |
I may have to go back to get it.
The sale runs daily until January 22nd, 2012.
Hours are 10am to 8pm.
It's located at the former Borders Bookstore:
9750 W. Broad St
Richmond VA 23060
I was told that the best time of the day to go is right when it opens because it will be more organized (they fold/organize more overnight) and they are restocking on a regular basis.
Oh and you can even pay using debit/credit/and GIFT cards!
Here's a link to the price list that I found on the J.Crew Aficionado blog.
Have you ever been to a J.Crew Warehouse Sale?
I went once in 2011 and once this year. Enter at your own risk, it can be a zoo on the weekends.

Oh J Crew reminds me of my boarding school days in CT! In London now unfortunately...
ReplyDeleteI NEEEEEEEEEED that coat!!!! Why isn't that sale here?? I am so sad now :(
ReplyDeleteAHHHH! I wish it wasn't no shop January and I would get you to pick up that coat for me!!! Argh!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome!! I hate crowds and disorganized shopping, but I'd totally get over those things to go to the sale once. I think there is a Lululemon warehouse sale here at the end of the month, but sadly I'll be out of town. :(
ReplyDeleteOne thing I miss about living in the city is J Crew! So jealous of those deals!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I wish we had an outlet near by! I went to one a couple of years ago and got the best deals. The coats you purchased are very nice and GREAT deals!
ReplyDeleteDaaang...I love sales...just hoping one of these days Nordtroms will have a sale on the Burberry wallet I want to drop 180 bucks on and totally don't need lol
ReplyDeleteWhy why WHY did I not know you when I lived in Richmond??? :(
ReplyDeleteLove the coat, have no use for it in Florida. I wouldn't be able to handle a sale like you described. I can barely go into Ross and sort through that madness. Lots of people in small spaces don't do it for me either. ugh.
ReplyDeleteI love that coat. Cute.
ReplyDeleteThat coat is so cute on you! GO BACK AND GET IT!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! It's a great fit!

ReplyDeleteI think I might need to drive to Richmond just for this! $50 for those coats is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteYou find the best sales! I'm a HUGE J.Crew fan. I think I saw that coat with the gathers online. Now that I see it on a real person, I want to buy it!
ReplyDeleteOk. Next January I'm coming up for the J Crew warehouse sale. I'm so jealous!
ReplyDeleteThere are no lack of sample sales in New York...and I love them all! It's so hard to pay full price nowadays.
ReplyDeletegreat finds!
ReplyDeleteI went too!! Totally worth the craziness :)
ReplyDeleteI ended up buying that black coat you mentioned...I got it in white too. $50 for a J.Crew coat is ridiculously awesome!! I highlighted a few of my purchases (and their original prices) on my blog recently. Definitely a worthwhile excursion!!
