This weekend, I want to challenge you to make an effort to do something that takes you out of your comfort zone.
Find something that makes you borderline-uncomfortable.
Whether it means waking up early for an 'early morning run', calling up an old friend who you've been meaning to catch up with, or just anything to temporarily to shake things up a little!
I always surprise myself with how refreshing it can be to get out of 'my routine' or to do something that I've been fearing.
| Try something that you've been putting off-- for example, reach out to old friends that you've been missing or approach someone new that you've been wanting to talk to! |
I'm super excited and nervous about joining a new organization in town that is having their first meeting on Saturday! I'm also going to run with a new running group on Sunday. I'm going to sit down and plan a trip that I've been meaning to plan. Lastly, I'm going to make an effort to go for a 'long' bike ride with Tappan--- which we've been talking about doing since May...

I like this idea! There are so many things that come to mind!
ReplyDeleteI am training for the NYC Marathon and with the heat, need to start running in the morning, which I HATE! But it's got to be done, and I am sure I will get used to it.
ReplyDeleteDon't be nervous! You'll love DNS =)
ReplyDeleteI'm not very big into baking but am going to attempt a fancy fancy cheesecake this Sunday because I have a ton of blueberries that need to be used up. Does that qualify as uncomfortable?
Great challenge! I'll have to think of something...
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge! I'm in! I will contact a friend in Germany, who used to be my best friend but we hardly talk to each other, not really sure why. I heard she got enganged 2 months ago. I'm a little disapponited she didn't tell me personally, but I will email her to conratulate her.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear how your weekend of challenges go! I'm actually writing a story for HooplaHa about this right now :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Enjoy checking out the new running group. I'm going way out of my comfort zone and racing my first triathlon on Sunday, eeeeek! :)
