-begin the 1st Friday in April and end the 2nd week of November
-costs $6 for adults
-they run all day, but I'd recommend going to the last tour of the night (7pm) to see the sunset!
-located at 139 Virginia Street in Richmond's historic Shockoe Slip
-you learn tons of historic facts from the tour guide
This tour is great for both tourists and native Richmonders alike.
Haha, so does Instagram make you feel like a professional photographer too?
I still have so much fun with instagram. It's intriguing to me that all of these photos were from the same tour, all within 30 minutes, the lighting and filters make it look like they were from different events.
Who was your guide? One of my good friends' husband is a "boat captain" - his name is David Robinson and he captains the Dolley Madison. He took us all on a ride once and I loved getting to learn about Richmond from the water!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. I can't believe how cheap the cruise was. Only $6?
ReplyDeleteInstagram is one of the greatest phone apps ever. It totally makes me feel more professional. :-)
