5 Friday Favorites

This week I've been loving:
I've been searching for what to wear during my half ironman in June
and I came across this flattering, comfy-looking,
and longer-torso'd tri kit that I discovered through Page's recent blog post about SOAS.
Definitely going to look into it.  Thanks for the idea, Page!

I am NEVER going to get tired of my view from work.
I continue to love day-dreaming out the window when I catch a moment of free time.

After putting nearly 500 miles on my old running shoes,
my new pair of Asics Nimbus 14's arrived in the mail and
I quickly welcomed them into my family with a fresh set of neon green laces.
They fit right in :)

I'm still loving my 1/4 zip tops from Old Navy.
I have an entire family of these from a fantastic sale they had last month.
I wear one pretty much each time I head out for a run in temps below 55 degrees (which is pretty much every single run these days.)  Perfect amount of warmth for me.

(OLD photo from spring 2012) but I just wanted to tell you
how much I've been loving Maymont Park recently...THIS much :)
You can see the James River in the background
(and you knowhow much I love the river.)

Plans for the weekend??
RELAXING and cozying up in my down comforter :)  Also possibly ChinaFestwine, & Oscars on Sunday night...plus a hilly-ish 18 miler tomorrow morning.

    1. I actually get all my neon laces for $1.99 at the Nike outlet at the beach. I usually buy a few at a time because I go there so infrequently and they're just so darn cheap!

  3. That does look like a nice tri kit. I've only ever worn the one-piece kind, but the two-piece might be nicer. Let us know what you think if you get one!

    1. Yeah I thought the 2 piece might be a little less claustrophobic for me :) I want to find somewhere to try it on before I buy it...so I'll let you know if it works out and I'll certainly do a review!

  7. Your view from work is spectacular! Wish my view was that nice. I like the tri suit too! Are you going to order it?

Good luck on your 18 miler :-)

    1. It's a great view, definitely a distraction at times!

I hope the 18 miler goes well, it's supposed to rain so it'll probably be a little miserable :(

  9. Those laces make your shoes look so fun to run in. I love brightly colored shoes for that reason--just a little something to perk you up before you head out on your run. Those Old Navy tops look really cute. I love it when you find a great product and then it goes on sale so you can buy more. Have a great weekend!

  10. That tri suit makes me want to do tris just so I can wear one, ha.

And I love the neon laces on your shoes...such a fun, personal touch.

I'm still on the jury duty train so I'm enjoying having "real" weekends! It's pretty nice, let me tell you.....but I do miss the 12 hour shifts/extra days off!
